World Mental Health Day 2021 – Accessibility to Mental Health Services at Work
The World Health Organization (World Health Organization) announced the theme of World Mental Health Day 2021 as “Mental Health Care for All: Let's Make It A Reality”. made it even more visible and countries could not fully prepare for this period. The pandemic has affected people of all ages in terms of health, economy and social aspects. It put employees in a difficult position with job losses and ongoing job insecurity. In order to combat the negative consequences of these difficulties on people, the importance of the accessibility of mental health services by everyone came to the fore. At the 2021 World Health Assembly, decisions were made to promote mental health, improve psychological well-being and establish comprehensive psychosocial support systems.
In this report, as part of World Mental Health Day 2021, we focused on the issues that perpetuate inequality in access to mental health services locally and globally, and what we can do for accessibility to mental health services, especially in business life.
