In employees who have experienced a workplace accident, psychological and mental effects may emerge in addition to physical effects. These effects are often invisible; however, symptoms such as:<\/span><\/p>

  • Anxiety<\/span><\/li>
  • Loss of control<\/span><\/li>
  • Distraction<\/span><\/li>
  • Physical alarm responses (blood pressure, dizziness, breath)<\/span><\/li>
  • Fear of not being able to return to work<\/span><\/li>
  • Intrusive visuals related to the moment of the accident<\/span><\/li>
  • Self-blame<\/span><\/li>
  • Difficulty returning to work<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    affect both the employee’s well-being and occupational safety.<\/span><\/p>
